Our Bali bootcamps are designed to take your foundational skills, either from the digital bootcamp or prior personal experience and then take it to the next level. While attending the digital bootcamp first is recommended it's not a requirement if you already have some photography experience, and if you enroll now in the November Bali Bootcamp you'll complimentary access to the digital photography bootcamp (worth $1950) so you can browse the lesson before you arrive as a refresher. It's a structured 8-week program where you have dedicated lessons and activities each week - each week new lessons unlock, and once they have been unlocked they stay open forever. All the lessons are available on-demand (so you can watch them any time of day) and if you fall a little behind you'll have plenty of opportunities to catch up. We understand life happens, and our team are here to support you every step of the way.

It will require a minimum of 6-8 hours of your time per week to complete the course, and these hours can be entirely suited around your schedule, there is no set times or days needed.

Our photography digital bootcamps is a zero-to-hero and you don't need any previous experience. We have tutorials and support starting from the absolute beginning through to advanced skills and building a successful business. Most of our past students had no previous experience when they joined the program, but even if you already do have some experience there is still plenty to learn.

For our Bali bootcamps, these are advanced programs so some previous experience or past attendence in our digital bootcamp is required. If you aren't sure if it's the right level for you, then reach out to our team via live chat and we'll help you figure it out.

Generally speaking unless you already consider yourself an expert in the technical skills and have built a profitable photography business with a steady flow of clients, there will be plenty of content for you to learn.

Students often ask if they need to own a manual camera for the photography digital bootcamp and while it's definitely recommended, it's not required - 95% of the lessons could be completed with a phone as your camera and you can focus on the other aspects of photography (like composition, lighting, posing, etc). Of course if you decide to pursue a career in photography you will likely need to invest in professional equipment at some point, but we walk you through that in the gear guide lessons and a full set-up can be as little as $500. Since you have lifetime access to all the course materials, some students choose to focus on learning the skills first, and then investing in gear in the future once they are ready to start landing clients.

For the advanced Bali bootcamp a camera is required, but if you don't have one we can help you to rent one for as little as $100 for the duration of the bootcamp

Yes! The business module makes up almost a 1/4 of our photography digital bootcamp, and we also weave this topic through the entire course - with practical case studies, examples, and walk-throughs. We provide all the templates & resources you need to hit the ground running and start your own creative business (no cookie-cutters here, we teach you how to find a niche and business structure that works for your unique circumstances) and we give you one-on-one feedback for your own 12-month digital strategy.

And of course for our advanced accelerators - the Business of Photography bootcamp & the Bali Bootcamp business skills make up the majority of the course.

Indonesia is official open to tourism again, and the only requiment for entry is to either be double-vaccinated (no time limit, and no need for a booster) or to have a medical excemption letter from your doctor as to why you aren't able to be vaccinated. There is no quarantine or covid test required for entry. Citizens from 72 countries are able to enter Bali with a Visa on Arrival for 500,000 IDR (or the equivalent of $35 USD) without needing to apply for a visa in advance. We know that some of you are concerned about whether right now is a responsible time to be travelling internationally, but as out team has lived on the island throughout the past 7 years we can confidently tell you that there has never been a better time to travel to Bali - and the balinese people are excited for tourism to return to the island, especially given all of the jobs it provides. We hire at least 90% local staff for our bootcamps, and support local businesses in every way including sourcing all the fresh fruit & vegetables for the bootcamps direct from local farmers.

Bali has an vaccination rate of over 90%, and most people also have some form of natural immunity from the various strains of covid that have been present here so Covid is no longer a major threat to local populations or visiting guests.
